SAUSAGE

The Bra sausage is a typical product of Piedmont .

Prepared with lean meats and beef to pork, sausage Bra is a valuable food specialty of Piedmont.

Photos taken from the site http://www.salsicciadibra.it
The origins of this typical salami come from the village of Cherasco, adjacent municipality, where once stood a Jewish community of important dimensions that required sausages without pork. It seems that the time of the Statuto Albertino (mid 800) the State had authorized the use of beef for the sausage only to the butchers Bra.

The Bra sausage is often eaten fresh and raw. This bagged Piedmont was also included in the list of Food Products Traditional Piedmont recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.

BRA WHITE TRUFFLE

The white truffle is one of the typical products of Piedmont world's most famous . The scent of this tuber is the protagonist of many of the recipes Piedmontese cuisine.

Already in the eighteenth century Piedmontese truffle was estimated and consumed in the kitchens of European nobility. Among his many admirers the composer Rossini called it "the Mozart of mushrooms". The most precious is certainly that collects in the hills of Alba and Asti.

The white truffle of Alba is one of the protagonists of Piedmontese cuisine profuno and imparts a distinctive flavor and even the simplest dishes such as' s egg white picket or Tajarin.

Earth: In Piedmont, the committee "no nuke"

In Piedmont, the Committee "no nuke"

MOBILIZATION. The choice of a return to nuclear power entails costs and risks are and will remain high and long lasting.
The choice of a return to nuclear power entails costs and risks are and will remain high and enduring: nuclear proliferation (although the "French model" proposed to us is inextricably linked to military uses of the atom) the impact on the area (huge water consumption for cooling the reactor), security in an age of international terrorism, the issue of decommissioning at the conclusion of their cycle of exploitation, management of radioactive waste disposal, the collapse of the attractiveness turistica del territorio e della genuinità dei prodotti agro-alimentari.

It is therefore necessary and urgent that the citizens and organizations, who consider the choice of returning to nuclear wrong, dangerous and expensive as well, join in "antinuclear committees" at the regional level, in order to share and optimize their forces and knowledge.

This mobilization is all the more necessary and urgent in Piedmont, where it is stored more than 85% of radioactive waste where the Italian and regional president Roberto Cota is presented as the proponent of the "nuclear no ifs, ands or buts," unlike Governors of all other Italian regions, even center-right, which instead have made claims and distinction. We appeal to citizens and towns in Piedmont that will stand in the coming weeks, the anti-nuclear Committee of Piedmont, open to all and everyone, without exception ideological, political and party, strictly non-violent.
Among the first members: Dino Barrera, Cons. National Green
Emma Bonino, Vice President of the Senate
David Bono, a regional councilor Movement 5 stars
Mercedes Bresso, cons. reg .- Former President of Piedmont
Bruno Mellano, National President of the Italian Radicals

NUCLEAR / 23 Saturday, in Fossa, antinuclear PIEDMONT MEETING.

MELLO (RADICALS): "I ACCELERATED NUCLEAR: THE FACE OF NO MUST close ranks."

Saturday, October 23, Fossano (CN), at the premises of the SOMS (Workers' Association), Via Roma n. 74, will be held (from 15:00 to 20:00) A meeting of antinuclear Piedmont. On the agenda for the promotion of antinuclear subscriptions Appeal launched two weeks ago at the regional level (http://nonukepiemonte.blogspot.com/p/firma-lappello.html) and programming initiatives for the 23 th anniversary the victory of the anti-nuclear referendum ('s 8 and 9 November 1987, over 80% of voters expressed Italian nuclear against the plan).

also attend the Bruno Mello (president of the Italian Radicals), who said:

"The facts show that it is the last week intuition was right to propose radical anti-nuclear forces in all of Piedmont, and fences without distinction of any kind, to work for the creation of a unified regional committee, which take stock of strengths and knowledge of the individual components, by exploiting all possible synergies .

The chair of the Ministry of Economic Development is no longer empty, and has taken the place of the naive Scajola a man much feared, that the Romans Paul best represents technocracy Berlusconi. Even the chair of president of the Nuclear Safety has been booked by Umberto Veronesi. Nothing to say about the beliefs nuclear, which are always repeated and publicly expressed, prof. Veronesi. I note only as objective fact, point to the government, the appointment of Veronesi split (also on this!) The PD, the name and authority of Verona will be spent for the revival of a nuclear program was already old before leaving , expensive and dangerous.

that remains is to say, to paraphrase Marx: antinuclear the Piedmont region (and beyond), unite!
