PIAZZO CONNECTING ROD

Il Piazzo è il quartiere medievale di Biella.
La data di fondazione del Piazzo viene fatta risalire al 1160 quando il vescovo Uguccione di Vercelli vi fece costruire un castello per la difesa contro i ghibellini.
La posizione elevata del Piazzo consentiva un'ottima difesa del castello.
