SANTO STEFANO BELBO

Carton Rapid Race 2010

On 3 and 4 July 2010 will be held in the Piedmont town of Cesana Torinese the traditional event "Carton Rapid Race."
The event which next year will celebrate the twentieth anniversary takes place on the River Dora, the intrepid participants will get a stretch of the river on boats home-made only of cardboard and duct tape ....
On the evening of Saturday 3 there will be a series of events including kayaking and rafting and the traditional concert.

The Sunday, there will be the real race with boats made of cardboard.


This year certainly will not feature the now-traditional setting of the public as to storm the town of Piedmont. The
